Goals of the Tucson Federation of Teachers

establishing job security and fairness through collective bargaining and legislative action;

empowering TFT members to participate in efforts to uphold high standards for their professions and the institutions in which they work;

disseminating information on professional issues and providing programs of training and professional development;

working in coalition with other organizations to address issues that affect all Americans, such as access toaffordable health care, equal employment opportunity and social justice.
